Modati Double Header: Fun Fun Weekend in Ann Arbor and Detroit
e’re doubling down this weekend for a gallery opening Friday and recycled fashion show on Saturday.
Our wonderful friends at Gallery Project invited us to present at their new show, Spring Collection 2010, opening Friday. We’ll have some art in the exhibit, some pieces in the fashion show, and we’ll be screen printing LIVE. Bring in old clothes and we’ll reform them! All the mayhem starts at 6 and runs until 9. There’s a party Sunday and everyone’s invited, we’ll be there on site making custom designs for custom people. Bring in old cloths and we’ll give them a makeover, here’s what our friends have to say about it:
Partake in the creative expression of art and music and celebrate the birth of three yellow barn organizers: Jon, Robin, Mary and friend Leah. The aim of this event is to bring people in the community together to produce and share in art and music, work together and celebrate. We will have little stations for painting on dumpstered wood, light graffiti, random array of unique instruments, paper crane wish-making, as well as a potluck, games, and dancing.
